BASIC EQUIPMENT - RIG #7
AVAILABLE FOR 5,000 TO 13,000' DRILLING
DRAWWORKS:
OIME SD-5 (UPGRADED TO 1000 HP) powered by two Caterpillar 3406B TA engines with torque converters (425 HP each). NOTE: Rig has independent rotary drive (Cat 3406) and transmission.
PUMPS:
Two Gardner Denver PZ-9 (1000 HP), each powered by separate Caterpillar 3508B engines (900HP).
MAST:
DSI 131' height, 18' 6" wide base, 650,000# Gross Nominal Capacity 450,000# hook load strung with ten (10) lines.
SUBSTRUCTURE:
17' R.K.B. 12' 6" working space below rotary beams. Occupies a 40' X 40' space.
DRILL COLLARS:
Twenty-one 6-1/4" X 2-13/16" X 31' w/4-1/2" X-Hole connections.
DRILL PIPE:
4-1/2", 20.00# (NC40) Grade X-95 drill pipe and 4-1/2" 16.6# G-105 drill pipe.
BLOW OUT
PREVENTERS:
One 11" Cameron "U" 5000# double ram BOP; and one Hydril 11" 5000# annular BOP. Valcon 60 gallon, three station accumulator..
One 5000# National choke manifold.
MUD TANKS:
One 450 BBL capacity, modular-type mud system, including one 35 BBL sand trap, and two 6" Venturi mud hoppers. Thanks include three 5" X 6" centrifugal pumps to provide submergible agitating, mud mixing, desanding and destilting. Tanks also include a Brandt linear motion shale shaker, a two cone high volume desander, an eight cone Brandt mud cleaner, and an electrically driven agitator impeller in each active tank.
MISCELLANEOUS
EQUIPMENT:
Large air conditioned bunk house with telephone and fax.
Large utility unit with air compressor, water pump, 2 light plants (375 KW each), dressing room, and 100 BBL water tank.
All other miscellaneous equipment necessary to make up a complete drilling rig entirely adequate to drill to depths of 13,000' with 4-1/2" O.D. drill pipe.
